The British Invasion, a time in which music was changed forever. During the mid-1960s, music bands mostly consisting of rock and pop located in the United Kingdom, exploded and became popular in the United States. Some of the major bands during this act were The Beatles, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, and The Who. These four bands paved the path for the invasion. Not only did they lead it all around the globe, but each band left an enormous impact on history and on music in particular. The British Invasion has shaped the world of music as we know it today.
